Oxigen investments plc is a UK based company offering investors the opportunity to diversify their portfolios with a selection of ethical forestry and agroforestry investment options. The company has been trading since 2004.

Teak (tectona)
Of the many species of tropical rainforest hardwoods growing on commercial plantations, teak is the only one for which sufficient historical data exists to allow us to make reasonably detailed projections of potential harvests and yields.

Agarwood (from the Aquilaria tree)
Utilising modern technology, Oxigen is growing aquilaria trees at plantations in Sri Lanka and Malaysia and have plans to expand into Thailand. Oxigen waits for the trees to be four to five years old before stimulating them to produce agarwood. The trees can then be harvested, realising a potential return for investors in just six years.

Teak and Agarwood
When investing in just one type of tree, owners can achieve the largest potential returns over the long term. But by combining teak with aragwood and utilising the latest inter-planting husbandry methods, returns can be achieved in a much shorter timescale.

Agroforestry
Agroforestry is a new and different type of investment, which can deliver fixed returns. Clients can buy individual or multiple land holdings in 10-acre blocks from £25,000 (£2,500 per acre) on one of our plantations. From Oxigen, backed up by harvest profits, the owner will receive an annual rental income of 15%, paid every six months. All Oxigen's clients must qualify as experienced investors under the Financial Services Act.
