[edit] History of EffecTeak

EffecTeak was a project that was offered to investors since June 2005. After Flor y Fauna, Expomaderas, Teca Vital, Next Generation Teak and Terra Vitalis, this was the sixth teak plantation company which involved the Huizinga family (Ebe Huizinga and Richard Huizinga).

EffecTeak sold Flor y Fauna TeakWood VIII parcels for prices of € 36.500 per hectare.

In August 2005, EffecTeak and her board where instrumental in the search for a solution of the conflicts at Flor y Fauna between the investors and the Huizinga family. Sicirec, on August 16, 2005: "We have good faith in the business and diplomatic capacities of EffecTeak's director, mr. W. Schraa, and expect there to be a realistic chance that the current negotiations will lead to a solution that is positive for the investors."

As soon as November 2005 EffecTeak seized business again and it became apparent that the negotiations had brought no new outcomes.
