From Timber Investments Wiki
Investment brokers are companies or individuals who promote investment opportunities. They charge a commission on trades that they execute.
There are many investment brokers operating on the (tropical) hardwood investments market who are not currently regulated by the FSA and as such are not allowed to give financial advice. They often work with independant financial advisors (IFA's) who are regulated and should give sound financial advice to their clients.
They can not and will not be held responsible for the quality of the investment products they promote.
